March is one of the three Intermediate moons together with its desert counterpart, Offense, and its forested sister, Adamance. It has a risk rating of "B" but is a lot harder than Experimentation. Both intermediate planets are quite similar on the inside with March having a larger map and Offense offering slightly more loot. Compared to Offense, March can spawn a large amount of bees but also has a more dangerous outdoor map due to its permanent quicksand patches and Forest Giants.
Much like Vow, March has a lush forest landscape. It does not support rainy weather but instead is under constant rain most likely due to its moisture saturated atmosphere. Quicksand spots on March are always in the same locations instead of spawning randomly like on Vow. March's terrain is rather hilly and a bunch of trees are scattered all around the map.
To go to the main entrance, follow the lights straight across the big hole from the back of the ship. It is a good strategy to check out all the different fire exits as March has 3 of them instead of lingering in the main entrance for too long in order to maximize the amount of collected scrap. It is also a viable strategy to go bee hunting on March as it has by far the highest bee spawn chance.
Just like on Offense, Thumpers and Spiders are the most common indoor entities on March. It is advised to bring a Shovel as both of these entities can be killed with it in a few hits.
Baboon Hawks and Forest Keepers are the most common nighttime entity on March. The dense forest and rocks on March make it easier to sneak your way past forest keepers.
March is the moon with the highest chance of finding Bees. It is a viable strategy to go around and search for bees if employees are experienced in bringing them back to the ship without dying.
On March, nighttime entities start spawning at around 2pm. Contrary to easy moons such as Assurance or Vow, the nighttime spawn rate steadily increases from that point on until it peaks at 12am. Between 9pm and 11pm the spawn rate first spikes up and then down momentarily. Similarly to Vow, daytime entities have an extended spawn timer at the beginning of the day before also gradually decreasing with time. See Mechanics for interpretation.
