Rend ist einer von drei verschneiten Monden; die anderen sind Dine und Titan. BEDINGUNGEN: Rends Planet umkreist einen weißen Zwergstern, weshalb er unbewohnbar kalt ist. Konstante Schneestürme reduzieren die Sichtweite.

GESCHICHTE: Einige berühmte Reisende sind hier verschwunden, was Rend berüchtigt macht. Aufgrund der Bedingungen des Planeten ist es unwahrscheinlich, dass ihre Leichen gefunden werden.

FAUNA: Es ist höchst unwahrscheinlich dass komplexes Leben hier existiert.

Umwelt

Rend ist ein verschneiter Mond mit vielen Felsen, der einen Weißen Zwerg umkreist. Der nie endende Schneesturm verhält sich wie nebeliges Wetter auf anderen Planeten, nur mit etwas besseren Sichtverhältnissen. Durch den Schneesturm ist es nicht nur die Sicht eingeschränkt, auch ist es schwieriger Stimmen oder Geräusche von Kreaturen zu hören. Eine Kette aus großen Lichtern helfen bei der Orientierung und führen vom Schiff zum Haupteingang bzw. zurück. Rend und sein schneebedecktes Gegenstück Dine haben beide die Villa als standardmäßigen Innenraum.

Strategie

Der Weg vom Schiff zum Haupteingang ist lang und man kann sich leicht verlaufen. Man sollte auf die Zeit achten, um nicht von nachtaktiven Kreaturen überrascht zu werden. Es kann helfen jemanden mit einem Walkie-Talkie am Schiff zu lassen, da neben dem Schneesturm die Villa auch besonders schwierig zu durchqueren ist. Der Notausgang kann ohne ausfahrbare Leiter erreicht werden, ist jedoch ziemlich weit entfernt und birgt das Risiko, sich auf dem Rückweg zu verlaufen.

The Nutcracker is the most common indoor entity on Rend followed by the Jester. Both these entities are very dangerous and extreme caution is advised when encountering them. The Nutcracker can be killed when executed correctly whereas the Jester just has to be avoided.

Nighttime

Eyeless Dogs and Forest Keepers are the most common nighttime entities on Rend. If spawned together, they can pose a significant threat to employee safety if not handled correctly.

Auf Rend erscheinen nachtaktive Kreaturen ab ungefähr 3 Uhr am Nachmittag. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit erreicht ihren höchstwert um 0 Uhr. In den Innenräumen erscheinen Kreaturen mit linear wachsender Wahrscheinlichkeit. Am Tag können keine Kreaturen auf der Oberfläche auftauchen, trotz des konstanten Multiplikators von 1 (so wird es vom Spiel definiert).

Data chips

There are 3 data chips on the surface:

Just outside the fire exit is a chip containing the log "Golden planet".

For the log "Nonsense", as you climb out of the chasm from the fire exit, walk straight past the lamppost and keep going up the hill until you crest it. Proceed forward carefully until you come to another chasm, then make a right turn so you're parallel to it, and go straight forward. Cliffs will come up on either side of you, and finally you'll come to a dead end where the data chip lies.

For the log "Idea", start by standing under the lamppost nearest the cabin, look just to the left of the cabin, and walk straight past it. You should squeeze between a hill and a tree. Continue straight ahead, and the next mountain on your right is the one you need to climb. The way up is nearby—a slope facing away from the main entrance. The data chip is on the small ledge at the top of the slope.
