Vow is a rather dangerous moon and belongs to the category of Easy moons. It has a danger rating of "C" and offers accordingly little loot. Despite that, it is quite dangerous indoors as well as outdoors compared to the amount and value of loot that can be found here.
HISTORY: Vow appears to have been inhabited by several colonies across its continents, but there is now no sign of life, and they have become a mystery.
Vow has a lush forest environment full of hills and trees. In front of the Main Entrance are two bridges spanning a deep gully lead to the main entrance. One bridge is a solid dam, with the fire exit at its foot, and the other is a rickety metal bridge that collapses under too much stress.
The bridge on the right has a durability of 1. For each second at least one employee is standing on it the durability decreases at a rate of 0.02 * (employeeCount * employeeCount)/s where employeeCount is the number of employees currently standing on the bridge.
Additionally, for each employee on the bridge that is carrying more than 11lbs, the durability will further decrease at a rate of 0.04 * totalWeight where totalWeight is how much weight the employee is carrying. Forest Keepers also cause the bridge durability to decrease at a rate of 1/4.25 ≈ 0.2353 durability/s.
If nobody is standing on it, it will slowly regenerate its durability back to 1 at a rate of 0.2 durability/s.
Once the durability reaches 0, the bridge collapses and employees on it will fall with it.
Employees and Forest Keepers are the only things that reduce the durability of the bridge, other Entities and dropped Scrap do not affect the bridge.
The fastest path from the ship to the main entrance is to turn right when exiting the ship and to go in a straight line towards the fragile bridge.
The optimal path to get in and out of the interior is to go straight towards the right bridge. It can be difficult to identify which direction the interior is in, since the landing area has few landmarks. The right bridge will usually hold one employee without breaking. If crossing with multiple employees or heavy items, it may be better to use the dam on the left.
The Flowerman is the most common entity on Vow. This makes Vow's indoor map rather dangerous to explore, especially when alone, as the Bracken can very easily sneak up on the employee. It is good to mention that you can be in the second type of interior, the Mansion, but it has a really low chance.
The Forest Keeper is by far the most common entity on Vow, with a spawn rate of over 60%. This makes the outdoor map of Vow one of the more dangerous areas.
Bees are slightly more common than on Assurance, but the large map size doesn't make it easier to find them. Due to the increased spawn chance of Forest Keepers, employees are discouraged from moving too far from the ship to find them.
Nighttime entities start spawning at around 2pm on Vow with a rather large spawn deviation. Similarly to Assurance, after 9pm entity spawning drastically increases with its peak at 12am.
